Paternity leave begins today folks! Today also begins the longest story-arc I have attempted on this site before. I hope you folks dig it.
IN OTHER NEWS
I am really stoked this week folks. This Saturday I will be tabling at the NC Comicon which is conveniently located off of I-40 at the Morrisville Outlet Mall. It’s a one day affair that should prove to be a lot o fun. I can’t wait to go. Any and all Desperadoes living comfortably near the area should come so that we might exchange the hugs and the hi-fives!
I plan on bringing some good stuff with me. I’ll be bringing my first 3 mini-comics and a few prints. Also, for the occasion, I am printing up issue 4 of the mini comic, which is particularly exciting because with this issue, I take my first stab at screen printing! If all goes well with the squeegee this week, each and every cover will be hand printed by yours truly. It should be good. Lastly, I have one more product I plan on trying out this Saturday. Keep your eyes on the fan-page for some production photos.
IN BABY NEWS
Ivy is far too big. Far too big far too quickly. She can still fit in one arm, but that won’t last for long, and I find that unacceptable. She remains adorable, and my suspicion is that she shall remain so. My fear is that other boys will start to think so too WAY before I’m ready.
Since the day of her birth, she has remained very laid-back and easy-going. She freakin’ HATES er car-seat, but for the last two weekends in a row she has dealt with sitting in hers for hours at a time and has been very well behaved at all of the functions we have attended. She doesn’t usually haul-off and cry. She usually just sort of fusses. That suits me and Megan just fine.
With my family she is in very large demand. For these passed two weekends I have been with my family and she has been passed around endlessly. I arrive at my parents home and there is a race to see who can ask to hold her first. I find this adorable and very convenient, but at the end of each day, I miss her dearly. Which is even MORE convenient because at night she’s ours to hold and take care of.
She’s a sweet-heart and everybody loves her is basically all I’m saying.
Thats all I have for today folks. See you again soon!
